How do the injections work?

• Wrinkles are a natural part of aging, caused by thinner, drier skin with reduced elasticity and muscle contractions. Continuous muscle movements lead to “dynamic wrinkles”, visible when muscles are active. Over time, these wrinkles can become “static wrinkles”, permanently lasting on the skin if left untreated.
• These injectables, made from purified proteins, temporarily relax facial muscles, softening and reducing visible wrinkles.
• Using a needle, we inject the skin fold with neuromodulators. These neuromodulators block the brain’s signal to the muscles, preventing them from contracting.
• Effectively, the treatment relaxes and lifts the muscles in your face, softening lines and giving you a smooth, fresh-faced appearance. The decreased movement in the muscle places less stress on the skin helping reduce the formation of fine lines. This treatment is most effective when used as a preventative measure.
• During your consultation, your clinical cosmetic medical provider will evaluate your concerns, commence a medical history, a complete a thorough assessment to determine a treatment plan considering your preference and priorities.
